Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Other tools, such as your browser’s local storage, do a similar job. This page lists what Easygrade uses and how to turn it off.
What we use
Settings saved on your device (local storage). These aren’t cookies in the strict sense, and they never leave your device. They remember your grading scale, decimal places and keyboard shortcut setting and, if you use it, your class score sheet. The calculators need them to remember your choices.
Essential cookies. WordPress and our security tools may set small cookies the site needs in order to work and stay secure. They don’t follow you around the web.
How to manage cookies
- In your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data, usually under Privacy or Security settings.
- Analytics. Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from collecting your visit data (search for “Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on”).
- Ads. You can adjust Google’s ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Industry opt-out tools include optout.aboutads.info (US), youradchoices.ca (Canada) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU and UK).
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends this signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of cookies that share data for advertising.
- Our cookie banner. [OPTIONAL: Where we show a cookie banner, you can change your choice at any time using the link in the footer.]
If you block cookies or clear site data, the calculators still work. You’ll just lose your saved scale and class sheet.
Other companies’ cookies
We don’t control cookies set by other companies, and their policies apply to them.
