How it works: the quick answer
Choose a calculator, enter your numbers, and read the grade. Each calculator turns your scores into a percent, finds the letter on the grading scale you pick, and shows the steps so you can check them. Everything runs in your browser, so your numbers stay on your device.
How it works in 3 steps
- Pick the right calculator. Use the list below. If you just want a quick grade from points, start with the easy grader.
- Enter your scores. Type points, percents or weights. Each box has a hint, and a message appears next to any box that needs fixing. Blank work is left out unless the page says otherwise.
- Read and check the result. You get a percent, a letter, and the steps behind them. If your school grades differently, change the grading scale on the page.

Grading scales: set yours once
Every calculator uses the same grading scale setting. Choose the standard A to F scale, the plus/minus scale, or build a custom one. Your choice is remembered in your browser, so you do not have to set it again on the next page. See the grading charts for the common scales.
What the results show
You see the percent, the letter grade and the steps behind them. Needed-score tools also tell you if a target is not possible. Scores you need are rounded up to two decimals so that you do not fall short. The grading methodology lists every formula.
Using EasyGrade on a phone or with a keyboard
The pages work on small screens and with a keyboard. Messages next to boxes are announced by screen readers. Tables scroll sideways on narrow screens. Most pages also have copy and print buttons.
What it cannot do
EasyGrade does not know your school’s own rules, and it does not store or look up your real grades. Results are estimates. Confirm important grades with your teacher. See the disclaimer and the privacy policy.

How it works questions
Is EasyGrade free?
Yes. It is free and needs no sign-up.
Where do my numbers go?
Nowhere. They are processed in your browser and are not uploaded or saved.
Which calculator do I start with?
For a quick grade from points, use the easy grader. Otherwise use the table above.
How is my letter grade chosen?
Your percent is compared with the cutoffs of your scale. A score at or above a cutoff earns that grade.
Can I use my school’s own scale?
Yes. Choose Custom on any calculator and enter your cutoffs.
Why does it say my target is not possible?
The score needed is above 100%, or above the highest score your teacher allows. Check the weights.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The pages are built for small screens.
Are the results official?
No. They are estimates. Your teacher sets the official grade.
How do I report a problem?
Use the contact page and include the numbers you entered.
